We Celebrated May 9th eTwinning Day with Our Creativity!

Our school was filled with excitement on May 9th, eTwinning Day! On this special day of the eTwinning platform, which promotes cooperation, cultural exchange, and digital skills among schools in Europe, we held a colorful and inspiring celebration with our students.

We Designed, Coded, and Created!

Our students, preparing for the world of the future, both had fun and learned in the workshops we held throughout the day. The activities we carried out as part of the celebrations were as follows:

Coding Activities: Our students used their problem-solving skills to create algorithms covering the eTwinning logo and themes.

Painting and Cutting-Pasting: Little hands transformed the colors of eTwinning into art by putting their imaginations on paper.

Bulletin Board Preparation: All the works were brought together on our eTwinning bulletin board, located in the most beautiful corner of our school corridor. Collaboration and Technology Together

With these activities, our students not only celebrated for a day; they also reinforced values such as teamwork, digital literacy, and sharing. Our bulletin board became a tangible reflection of the projects our students carried out and the effort they showed throughout the semester. "eTwinning is a huge classroom that eliminates boundaries. We are proud to be a part of this classroom today!"

We would like to thank all the teachers who contributed to the event and our dear students who never lost their enthusiasm. We hope to meet again in many more eTwinning projects.

 TEAM-6

Under the umbrella of our “Green Compass – Climate-Friendly Living Through Digital Steps” project, we have forged a very special collaboration that transcends international borders. Students from different regions came together and, through the mixed-team groups they formed, pooled their creativity to share nature’s voice with the world. At the heart of this creative journey were the forest fires threatening the lungs of our planet. Our students addressed the damage these fires inflict on ecosystems, wildlife, and social consciousness with a deeper sensitivity in every line they wrote. As the process unfolded like a relay race among teams, each group completed a link in the story; thus, a multi-voiced, collective, and equally hopeful work emerged.

EKRİN-AYNUR
The air over the village felt heavier than usual that morning. The fresh scent of pine needles had given way to a dry, foreign odor that stung the nose. At first, no one could make sense of it; the elders whispered that the wind had changed direction, while the young people simply glanced at the distant dust cloud and moved on. But the irregular, wailing cries of the birds coming from deep within the forest were the first tangible sign of an unseen disaster.

İREM- MELTEM

As the sun prepared to dip below the hills, the sky took on a hue different from its usual orange. On the horizon, a thin, trembling, blood-red line appeared, licking the tops of the trees. This was no sunset; it was the first cry of nature’s wildest force, erupting from the heart of the forest. The false light reflecting off the windows of the houses in the valley made the truth impossible to hide

ALPEREN ONHAL- NURAY

The crowd in front of the village café fell silent; the children stopped playing. Everyone was looking in the same direction, at the spot where smoke was staining the sky like an inkblot. “There it is,” said a voice, trembling. The danger, which until that moment had been merely a possibility, had now transformed into a massive, breathing monster visible to the naked eye—one that grew larger with every passing second. People no longer merely sensed the fire; they felt its scorching heat in their minds.

Awareness turned into action in a matter of seconds. The tractors parked at the doorsteps were started up, windows were hurriedly shut, and people began calling out to one another. The forest’s millennia-old silence was now shattered by the roar of the approaching flames and the frantic shouts of the people. Everyone’s eyes were fixed on that crimson giant; for the moment the fire was spotted, the time to either flee or fight had begun

İBRAHİM-EGEMEN

As the flames swept down from the valley beyond the hill, the townspeople began to act as one for the first time. The fire’s brilliance illuminated every face, revealing both fear and resolve at the same time. That night, the people did not merely witness a disaster; they also realized how small they were in the face of that raging fire, yet how powerful they were when united. As the sky grew dark, the light of awareness and struggle below grew ever brighter

Team 3 has successfully completed the book page. During this process, tasks such as page layout, title creation, content writing, and illustration were assigned to students, encouraging collaborative work. Each student fulfilled their responsibility and contributed to creating a common product. Through this activity, students improved their creativity and experienced the importance of teamwork.

We reduce our environmental impact by promoting recycling practices in waste management and implementing innovative solutions

Women play an essential role in shaping families, communities, and the future of our planet. Their determination, compassion, and leadership inspire positive change in every field of life.

International Women’s Day is not only a day to celebrate achievements but also a reminder of the importance of equality, respect, and opportunity for all. Empowering women means building a stronger, more sustainable, and more peaceful world.

As students and teachers working together in our project, we believe that every voice matters and every individual can make a difference. Let us continue to support, respect, and inspire one another.
